Fishtail Bun Hair Tutorial

braided hairstyle

Try this fishtail bun tutorial for an elegant look that catches the eye.

Here’s how you can get this look:

1) Make a fishtail in the back of your hair.

2) Loosen the braid a little with your fingers, by spreading apart the three strands.

3) Curl the fishtail in a bun in the back of your hair.

TIP: Switch up the style by making a puff at the top of your hair. Or try bangs, and accessorize the bun with a scarf.

The Triple Braid Tutorial

braided hairstyles

This one’s so easy even an amateur could do it.

The trick: Divide your hair into three sections, and braid each section. Then braid all of the three sections together, and that’s it – you’re done.

You can make completely change the style of this braid by loosening each of the three braids before you braid them together. You could also temporarily color the braids with sidewalk chalk - a cool effect that you can wash out at the end of the day.

Accessorize with ribbons, bows, or nothing if you like – it’s still a simple style that looks like you should have spent more time on it.

(But we won’t tell if you don’t :) )
